Well I got really tired of waiting to fish for Albacore at the coast so I decided to try out my new old boat on Shasta, we didn't do any good at all on the catfish, however we got are limit of nice size bass in the am.  we went way up on the pit arm and spent the night and I used crankbaits to take the bass with, the lure would just hit the water and bang fish on.    Don

Looks nice out there Don!! Nice spots too. When was the last time it was that full? I can;t say I've ever seen it in range of tree line. Maybe one of these weekends I can get inland while she blows on the coast.

Yes it was only down about 20 ft. or so, we found some shade for a change.  I sure wanted to pull my boat south and go out with you guys the other day, this waiting game is just killing me, glad you had a chance at them Marc, I haven't had my first chance yet.  lets hope next week brings calm water.
